Theodore S. Parins, MD, FACS


Dr. Parins is a native of Green Bay.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and graduated with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He then attended U.W. Medical School where he earned his MD degree.  He entered an internship in Sioux City, Iowa, and performed a residency in general surgery at the Marshfield Clinic. He worked in Medford Wisconsin for over a year before joining Surgical Associates

Dr. Parins joined Surgical Associates in 2001, and brought experience and an interest in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery to Sauk Prairie.  He continues to integrate new techniques and technology into the practice by attending seminars and workshops, and also through continued medical Education.  He earned the Physicians Recognition Award granted by the American Medical Association for his participation in Continued Medical Education.

Dr Parins is Board Certified in general Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Parins lives in Prairie du Sac with his wife, Alicia, and their six children.  Family activities take up most of his free time, but he also enjoys riding his motorcycle or attending a Packer game.
